Just Crazy Politics has an informative chat about how he believes most Christians feel about the establishment clause. "No Law Respecting An Establishment of Religion"
He is right on with what he is saying and please allow me to stress that one thing near and dear to us is that we DO want to put an end to the phrase "Separation of Church and State" because that is not the law as it was intended or as it should be interpreted. It was about putting an end to religious persecution.
None of us want that but when the interpretation is "Separation" instead of "No official religion" we get two totally different things.
This is part of the reason my children are being home educated. What is being taught to children in public school is at odds with what my wife and I believe to be true.
Mind you, we don't have issues with the educators really, but with the system as it is being developed by the courts on the false "Separation" doctrine.
